Mastering Submissions

By submitting your music to me for mastering you are agreeing to the following:

• The mastering fees per track and additional version mastering fees per track, as detailed on the Mastering page.

• You will provide downloadable files for all tracks to be mastered in either .wav or .aiff format, in the sample rate/bit depth they were recorded at. No sample rate conversion or dithering should be carried out.

• I will review mixes provided and if any issues are identified which need to be addressed at the mix level prior to mastering, they will be highlighted.

• I will provide you with a timeline for expected delivery of the draft masters for your review and approval, and keep you up to date on any blockers or delays.

• Masters sent to you for approval will be reviewed promptly. I hold some time in case a revision is needed, but if there is a delay getting approval, delivery of your requests might be delayed due to other scheduled projects.

• Finalised files and invoices will be sent when approval has been received on all masters.

• Payment is due within 2 weeks of invoice date.

• While extensive quality control is exercised to make sure the final master files provided are error free, all files should be re-checked by you before using them for digital distribution or physical media production.

• I will endeavour to resolve any issues that arise with the masters I provide that are brought to my attention, but am not liable for any cost or damage caused by using the files provided.

• Unless otherwise specified, you agree to grant permissions and licenses for me to use excerpts of the music I have mastered for you, and its artwork, for creation of promotional material for my mastering services. Note: I will not use any of the mastered music prior to release.
