Tony Fitz is a musician and engineer from Kildare, Ireland.
Tony is currently working on a series of singles to be released throughout 2019, as well as composing and recording a score for an upcoming BBC commissioned documentary.
2018 saw the release of the debut Diplomat album, a collaboration with Michael Murphy of Tomorrows. This was followed by Tony's contribution to the score for the critically acclaimed short film, "Becoming Cherrie", from director Nicky Larkin.
Tony mastered the 2018 Choice Music Prize nominated debut album, Wednesday, by Just Mustard. Other recent mastering clients include Tomorrows, Bantum, Casavettes and The Future West.
With a background in recording live performances, Tony has trained with world renowned engineer, Steve Albini, and has worked with a host of Irish acts, including Glen Hansard, Participant, Gráinne Hunt, We The Oceanographers, Sive, Carriages, Sleep Thieves and many more.
